Not Everyone is Special
Nowadays it's cool to be a weirdo or a freak
But all of theses "weirdos" are identically unique
We're falsely told that we're all, separate from the whole
That all of us are destined for a special role
But when we all stand out of the crowd a problem comes to hand
There no longer is a crowd from out of which to stand
We're lied to, deceived from even when we're young
That we're the center of the world, our own beaming sun
Now not being special is not something over which to weep
It's highly improbable to be a wolf among sheep.
I'm not being insulting or trying to crush your dreams
Being normals completely fine that's what the word means
But dreaming big and wishing is perfectly okay
Hope is the driving force that makes us rise everyday
Although it's hard to be the best, on the off chance that you are
Keep striving and pushing to be a shining star
No matter what your chances are better than none
Even if the odds are a million to one
So what you probably won't be an icon or a hero
At least your odds are not a million to zero
