Beams of light shoot through the cloud barrier exposing the vibrant potential of the ocean’s colors
The rays of light strike the sand showing the bold colors of the sea shells
The grey peer is highlighted by the sun revealing its true age

Excited chatter is trailed by a stampede of footsteps slapping against the cold wet sand as they rush to see the nearby dolphin
Cool waves flow onto the shore followed by exhilarated squeals of people daring to dip there foot in
Seagulls caw for attention, watching us from a whole new perspective, guarding the beach from above
Does anyone else feel safe?

Tybee Island calms me with its innocent scenery and soothing waves
Stress melts away when the cool refreshing water grazes my feet
Relief strikes me as familiar friends swarm the beach rampantly
Why can’t we stay a longer?
