her dreaming eyes
December 1, 2014
the dark is cold
and trapped
but then something in her dreaming eyes
sets the night free
and the tiny flame within me
finds life again
her dreaming eyes
send the windy symphony
to soar among the stars
swirling their light
among the deep blue.
i give all time
to hold her dreaming eyes
in my heart
because when mine open
the candle goes out.
