When you Left
When you left
You too the stars with you
And now it's a starless sky
And I'm wondering where
You put them and
Why you even had to take them
In the first place
When you Left
You took the rain
And now I can never rest
Knowing my heart will soon dry and crack
And I struggle with how you could
Pack up and leave without a word
When you left
You cut slivers of the moon
And tucked them away
And as I search the sky
All I see is the scar of our love
That was caused by a girl
With a star behind her ear
And the rain in her head
And the moon on her shoulder
