Some days,
Days like this,
I want to drift away,
Loosen the ties of my mind and body,
Cut the rope that keeps me tied,
Break the window that teases me,
Disassemble the door that locks me in,
Scream at the one that holds me down,
Drain the water that makes me drown,
Suffocate the dreams that keep me up,
Unfriend the evil that lurks to kill,
Chain the pain I allow to haunt my day.
