Favorite Quote:
"Write drunk; edit sober." Ernest Hemingway

Icy frost

Cloaking the grass,

trod upon by none.

Angry clouds

Across the sky,

Blotting out the sun.

Icy lakes

Smooth,unbroken,

Pallid, clear, morass.

A bitter heart

gnarled forever,

shattered like broken glass.

A raven cawing

Grievously crying,

Terrible loss apparent.

A lone dark shape

Hidden in the mist,

Glaringly errant.

Wind howling

Through twisted boughs,

Downward snow falling.

Silence, whispering

Frigid fog,

Death, eternally calling.
