Waken

Now I lay down to rest
For today I’ve done my best
Sleep will not come
Though I am also freshly awake
For years I have slept
Off in my own world with my own reality
Then
Just recently
I have waken
Though
What I see before me is real
As if it was not there yesterday
A sudden shock
Reality is not real at all
It is as if I had really slept
And now
Like never before
My eyes are open
In this horrible dream we call life
I have finally stopped to think
It wasn’t a dream
I was never sleeping
And as I stand tall
I am drug down by the thought
I am lying down to rest
But it is …. Strange
I have only just waken to face my nightmare

I think that life in general is my very own nightmare. I'm just not into life. I'm more like trying to heal unseen wounds and being ashamed of my scars than trying to live like a teen should. I don't know why. I feel like my life is a bad dream. Though I know it is very real. Idk.
