What Is Freedom?
What is freedom?
Are we really free?
Everyday of our lives we are fighting for our "freedom".
We send thousands of troops over seas to protect our "freedom".
But in reality we don't have any freedom.
Our country is in debt.
Social Media spys on you everyday of your life.
The goverment knows those private texts you send.
An ordinary person can hack ALL of your accounts.
We aren't really free.
Do we have freedom?
We have laws that say we can't own a gun.
We have laws that say same sex couples can't get married.
Everyday we get told what to say and what not to say.
We get told how to act and what to do.
There are cops going around hurting innocent people.
People are scared for their lives everyday.
But that's okay because we have freedom.
We don't have freedom.
The president wants you to think that we do.
But everyday he spys on us and knows what we do.
He knows our every move.
He hides things from us.
The president makes up lies and makes us believe them.
We won't have freedom until all of our troops are home.
We won't have freedom until we dont have to fight everyday.
We won't have freedom until there is peace.
Which will be never.
So what really is freedom?
Are we really free?
Do you think we're free?
Cause I know this country isn't free.

I've never been one to let people read my work. But this was a touchy topic for me. It's for a school project. And now everybody can see it.
