Doom.
yes.
i see the way i look compared to others,
and sometimes i wish i was blind
so i wouldn't see my
displeasing reflection ever again,
but then i'd still be compared
to them so i wish
the whole world was blind,
so shapes and colors would be
irrelevant and nonexistent,
but then i'd be judged
by my uncomfortable voice,
and i'd be compared to others yet again,
so i'd wish the whole world
was deaf as well,
so sounds would be irrelevant
and nonexistent,
but then our other senses
would always fill in
for society's everlasting
need to judge others,
so i guess humanity has
cursed itself to forever be
foolishly judging others
with never any satisfaction
for all the pain they cause.

I was inspired by how I've always been compared to others, and when I finally meet that comparison people always find another way to compare me to people. Society is never satisfied.
