what can not be changed can wilt away or fade, but never will it be forgotten.

Apologies fall on deaf ears,
Even in the midst of pain.
Apologies are made of lies, often said to appease the state of one's own mind.
But what if the apologies that fall on deaf ears are the ones most meaningful, the ones that aren't simply sorry, the ones that never consist of false hopes and short sentences.
What if the apologies that are from the heart are painful, sultry, and hard to say.
Apologies are never made from the phrase "I'm sorry" they are never made by the ones who never cared. The apologies that mean the most often come to late.
They fall on deaf ears.
