Thoughts of an Insomniac

When the sun sets
I talk to the moon
I watch the stars
light up my room
When the sunshine hides
and day turns to night
the moon is my only friend
at the darkest of times
Like the shadows dancing
on my wall of scattered
thoughts
dreams steal me at 4 a.m.
and so I drift away
