Paradox
We are doomed
As a human race.
No one will ever say,
We are the ones who made it.
We will eventually die out,
We know what cannot be true is that
We matter,
We are irrelevant in the scheme of things,
Here is what we have deemed impossible:
We will somehow survive until the end of time.
We know this is true,
Even though we hurt and anger and kill
We will defy all odds,
Is something we have stopped saying
We cannot beat the odds of nature
We are still here,
But only for so long
Things may get bad,
We know
We have a chance
Is what we cannot say
We have no hope.
Now read it from the bottom to the top.
