"I wish I could be a little less dramatic, like a Kennedy when Camelot went down in Flames." -Miranda Lambert

I wish I never did it,

But I can't go back on it now.

I know I've never met you,

But I wish I could make it up.

I was just being selfish

And never thought of you.

I'll never do what I did

To you or another

I guess they're right about

How lust makes you do crazy things.

This is about a huge mistake I made and it's my apology for it.

I absolutely love the ending! This poem really speaks the truth. It's structure is short and to the point, but it's speaks a lot for itself. Well done! Voted 5/5!

Be in this life as a traveler.

I really like how this is a true poem. Short yet deep at the same time. Though it's short, it says a lot in the words you have chosen. I noticed the poem ties back together from the first stanza to the fourth stanza. The last 2 lines really capture the nature of humans desires.

"Don't let schooling interfere with your education."

I loved the abstract feel about this poem. What as a reader would have liked though, would be some form of loose order to tie everything together. One thing I really liked in the beginning was that each couplet had a ray them scheme of 1st line: 7 syllables, 2nd line: 8 syllables. I was a bit startled, to be honest, when that didn't continue on the second half of the poem. Also, I loved the fact that this was an apology to someone you don't even know. I just thought that was pretty cool.
