From ajar liquor cabinets
And Peter Pan collars.
From my brother's brooding
And my sister's charisma.
I am from late nights
Back-stabbing
And expectations.
Leaning over the toilet
While the shower is running.
I am from long walks
In the park
With my sister
And my dog.
I am from secrets
And fighting
And victory
I am from hard workers
From diligence
And dignity
I am from trouble
And victory
