Half-sunken memories

Sunk halfway in this muck.

I managed to salvage the few bits,

the few broken pieces.

I flip through them, so few.

I barely remember,

that's why I'm chasing yesterday.

Asking, "What happened?"

But there was no answer. . .

I'm the girl chasing yesterday.

The author's comments:

I wrote this thinking of my memories. I had memories yes, but not many memories of me and my family together. Memories of my mother, my brother, my father and I. . .when we were once a family, when we were all together. They had felt so few to me at that time, but now? Haha, now I am not the girl who chases yesterday anymore. I am the girl who has memories now, and who lives in today's excitement, love and gift, instead of inside the broken fagments of yesterday's tears. Haha, if that makes sense. I just wanted to share this with ya'll! ^_^ Hope ya'll enjoy it! ^_^
