I traveled to the stars,

When I looked into my jar.

O' what great beauty they are.

But my jar,

It looks quite sharp.

With a size too large,

And flaws of scars.

But there are stars in my jar,

Can't you see?

I have the best jar.

You refused to look inside,

Not one chance is given,

To let me show you,

There are great beauty in my heart.

The stars, they shine quietly inside.

But you cannot see,

Any beauty in me.

But can't you see?

 I have the best heart.

The author's comments:

I am an international student who just got to Anaheim this month.Through all of the people I have seen, a lot of them cant judge people without considering what they look like. It is not right to blame them for that, because everyone does that some time, not on purpose but in a natural way. So I have experienced this, just like anybody else who is sensitive enough to notice it. I wrote a poem about the stars, because I believe that a good heart is beautiful like the harmony of the universe. Everything shoud be beautiful because they are balanced. It is my first time writing a english poem, and I am not sure what type of poem it is. But I think that I expressed myself pretty good in it, I hope you like it.
