"There Are Poems Inside You That Paper Can't Handle."

Nothing’s ever as real as it seems
So please don't wake me from my dreams
Because I've forgotten how to live and
I can't recall how to forgive
My mind put my body to waste and
On my skin, my pain I trace
With a shiny silver blade and
My scars I fear will never fade
I'm afraid of all that I've become and
Sometimes I wish that I was numb but
The pain demands to be felt and
I can't breathe in the scream for help
Because it's hard to find the words to speak
When every tear that falls leaves me weak
I've tired my best to just stay strong
I've fought the monsters for much too long
With open, raw, and bleeding skin
I finally let the monsters win

Dear Daisy,   I understand a lot of what is in this poem.  I have felt the same way.  Though never could put it into them words, I did at one point.  I neve quite admit it, because I always thought I had ta be the strong one.  If ever needing a friend or someone to talk to.  You know how to get a hold of me. mkay?
