I Will

When you need me
I will hold your hand,
I will help guide you through.
I know the dark places;
the ones we fear and tremble through.
I will dry your tears,
give you light in the darkness.
I will always:
do my best for you,
be there for you,
carry you.
I will show you the morning sunrise,
the clear sky.
I will guide you home.
Even when you don’t know it.
I will be there,
stand up for you,
be loyal and true.
But I can not cure all your pains,
though I will try.
I am not capable of everything.
