Hammer Time MAG
Sledgehammer to my skull,
see the creativity, wisdom, and darkness inside.
Brains dark red with demons prowling,
Stomping out each smile ever known or felt.
Sledgehammer to my chest.
Break my ribs and tear them out until you find your prize.
Rip out a charcoal heart,
only curls of smoke rising from it.
Find what's inside of me,
kill me in the process. I don't care.
Look for a soul, maybe.
What will you find?
Was there ever one here?
Possibly, swallowed by the demons inside of me.
Or is there such a thing as a soul?
Did it, like my hope, never exist?
