The threads of clouds rip away as you begin the
f
r
e
e
f
a
l
l
Well, darling, you’ve done it now
Flew too close to the sun and
Tumbled in the embers.
Now you’ve falling through layers of lies,
your poor heart, pitter-pattering like
there’s still Hope to save yourself.

Well, darling, you should know
Burnt wings don’t fly
and
Gravity doesn’t wait for broken birds.
