So there I sat,
Watching time fall out very flat.
I couldn’t connect to the present,
Because I was nowhere to be found.
There was this guy,
Well, he was my…
My, well, I can’t really say.
The dream fast-forwarded to a time long forgotten.
Our beginning was all but begotten.
I say it’s a dream,
Because it felt like nothing more.
But it could be the future,
Maybe I have yet to actually soar.
