the never ending road fills my lungs with dreams
letting me see futures yet to be lived
i travel down its winding path with scattered thoughts cluttering the sidewalk
just to get impatient and tired of where i stand
imagining how much more
i sprint towards the end
getting faster, picking up speed and fear
but, more afraid of what’s behind than in front
I dive head first into nothing
