"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." - Friedrich Nietzsche

The adhesion of sticker and wall
But stickers curls,
Grows old, unsticks, falls to the floor.
Pledging allegiance to one another, but
Crossing fingers in moments of silence
Treacherous behavior
Breaks piety in the form of a silver band.
A glimmering rock
Shatters in falsity.
Loyalty comes with the price of sterling silver,
Disloyalty is free,
If easy to obtain,
One without a conscious
Is willing to pay costs of
guilt, regret, loss of pride.
Perfidious traitors who were once devoted
Once down-the- line in union
Followed a path that becomes a fork
An arrest or a surrender.
Where does one terminate?
Where does one surrender?
How can one forget?
And where did love come shattered?

I'm not for sure what fidelity means, but if your poem explains it I understand. I liked the ending where you asked a series of questions, it left me in suspense.
