"Krall"
Her hair is like a storm,
knowing neither domestication,
nor limit.
It is a blend of browns.
Caramel, cinnamon, and walnut
curling down her back,
blemished only by erratic highlights of blonde.
She dresses in a fashionable,
but effortless,
way.
Clothed in v-neck, skinny jeans, and boots,
she stands leisurely.
Her laugh is undistinguished,
a mere utterance of “ha ha ha,”
yet it fills a room.
The joy that resounds from her laugh,
reaches everyone near,
causing a soft smile to form.
She’s known by her last name “Krall”,
rarely does a call of first name
reach her ears.
Her character is genuine, loving, and good-natured.
She holds a mind of vast knowledge,
and she is willing to listen.
She takes interest in the obscure.
Rare and novel wonders--a delight.
Her passion takes form in English.
The way she spends her time
reading and writing,
you’d mistake it for her life force.
Time spent with her is sporadic
yet frequent;
I take pleasure in our chats.
Though her visits are not for me,
she takes time,
to hear my thoughts.
Maybe she is just my sister’s friend,
but to me she feels just as close.
