Memories
My grandmother sits on the dingy floor of her tiny apartment
As my grandfather plays the piano.
She closes her eyes and hums the tune.
She and my grandfather danced to this song
On their wedding day.
But those times are gone.
She is no longer a young, happy bride.
She unconsciously rubs her wedding finger
And remembers the days
When she was young.
