Sometimes I want to Run Away
You get straight A's but I can see right through you
I know that behind that white piece of paper covered,
soaked,
drenched,
in the letter A
is one-thousand lies.
I should no because,
every time I even get close to what is considered cheating,
to being dishonest,
I break down,
I fall down,
I crumble.
So, I get points off,
and less A's,
and more stress,
and more anxiety,
but you,
you get straight A's and a stupid smirk on your face.
Sometimes I just want to run away from this
to get in a car,
turn on the ignition,
and run.
