I want to put my hands to the sky and scream!
maybe the voices rushing threw my veins will find a way out,
threw my arms raised towards the sky,
my mouth, threw my gapping oral cavity and high decibel screams of terror
and fear
and love
What happened to the good times
What happened to simple, like running down a street and not worrying about the consequences
I don't want to be an old soul in a seventeen years olds' body
I want to be young and fearless and free
what I've learned is that all of that still takes energy
and lying around
lazing around
will not help my cause
