My List of Apologies
I’m sorry I took the last cookie when you said no.
I’m sorry I have a bad temper; sometimes I blow.
I’m sorry I didn’t like the dress I got for my birthday.
I’m sorry I didn’t believe you weren’t okay.
I’m sorry for the scars I left in your heart.
I’m sorry It was me who ripped you apart.
I’m sorry I didn’t know how to help you.
I’m sorry I lost the only person I knew.
I’m sorry I didn’t save you.
I would have if I had a clue.
I’m so sorry you never smiled.
I’m so sorry I never saw you wild.
I’m beyond sorry that you didn’t think I care.
I’m beyond sorry you fell down the stairs.
I’m beyond sorry that you’ll never know this.
I’m beyond sorry even though you’re in bliss.
I can't say sorry now, because you’re gone.
If I could display all my wrongs I’d love dawn.
I hate the morning because you aren’t there.
Sometimes the pain is so hard to bear.
I’m sorry I told you lies to cover up my feelings.
I know you'd still love me despite my awful dealings.
I’m so sorry for writing this poem; It probably breaks your heart.
But I’m so sad, and this, for me, is a good start.
