Ouija Board MAG
In the country late at night
in a white wooden farmhouse
nestled in the middle of Stissing Valley
Listening to the wind howling and branches
rustling like ghosts.
Too much adrenaline to worry
Two girls sit beside me on the flannel blanket
Six eyes black like the starless sky
The bed creaks as one of them twitches away
from the moving piece of plastic
I feel the presence, but can't see through
the uneasy stillness
inside my eyelids.
