To My Future Husband
I’m nowhere near what you’d call perfect.
And miles a way from what you’d predict.
To know me is to love me and I’ll love you back.
Just as much as my favorite snack.
I change it often like my mind.
Sometimes I write just to unwind.
I set three alarms to help wake me up.
It’s the weirdest thing when I hiccup.
I love cuddling with movies to watch.
I hate the taste of butterscotch.
I pick at my face when I feel a pimple.
A hard enough smile will show my right dimple.
I’ll agree to disagree because I hate to argue.
I procrastinate when things are due.
I have the funniest jokes that only humor me.
I love country music as well as sweet tea.
When I’m upset I like to be silent.
I like to have my way but I’m no tyrant.
To my future husband, let’s keep each other alive.
If you love me and I love you, we will survive.
