Chasing Sad

It’s so damn hard
to write the Sad
when you’re so helplessly
in love.
I think about
all the negatives
in my poor life.
But you came along
and changed it all.
Now,
when I think of the Sad,
I think of how
you improve me
and make me better.
You chased the Sad away
and when you leave,
if you leave,
the Sad will return.
