red paint on my hand
is it real? they ask
they don’t know.
know nothing, except
that we spin
Earth spins in circles
not in triangles, or . . .
I forget. does it spin
in squares, in rectangles,
in colors?
we spin in blue and green
yellow and purple
but do we spin
in white and black?
grey? but grey is
a shade, not a color
