the boy who stayed on the train
did not fall asleep in his rusty neighborhood
anymore his mind
was the only sharp thing he could afford no ?revenge on his past
(on the cold summer nights and the people and the fights over
nothing at all) no nothing like that because
it’s insanity that keeps us sane he thought?understanding that keeps us tame?as he stayed on that train in
the nighttime he got gum in his auburn hair
and he dirtied the floor with the rusty stained soles
of his shoes yes he made size 11
imprints on that train while it rolled along
sweetly with the windows cracked
and he could feel colors running down his cheeks as the rain
shimmied through the window’s gaps and he stared
at the moon and its beams
reflected off his yellowing teeth

This has so much potential, so much beauty In the story it's creating, but somehow I feel like it's not quite done. Is this a finished piece of your artistic poetry? Or a lovely work in progress?
