Conundrums of the Human Heart
What a puzzle, a riddle, a paradox
It is to know a person.
If you are lucky you may hold a few sparse pieces to the puzzle
And have the hope
Of a chance
To juxtapose them in such a way
To catch a passing glimpse of the image it possesses.
All my zealous efforts to know you grant me hardly a corner,
But grateful for each bit I am.
Maybe,
Just maybe,
By the end of our mortal journey
I will have captured more than a fleeting corner
Of your heart.
