Cold, Dark, and Cruel
Through nocturnal eyes I see this world
The night's wind dances and begins to twirl
The eyes of another watch me so
Watch me, deathless, as I rapidly grow
He stays by me, never to waver
Witnesses me alone as I cry
The tears that now have all gone too dry
Gone as here emotionless I will lay
Cruel as the devil would now approve
God would disapprove since I am astray
The light in my eyes has gone, replaced
Replaced by the darkness of eternal night
In eternal darkness I have gone cold
Cold, Dark, and Cruel is me, now forever
