Spring
A soft gentile wind rustles the playful flowers
Their laughs carry on with the breeze to the town
Their faery pollen touching the highest of towers
Bringing voices whispering winter will now drown
The sun sheds warmth on the frozen earth
It melts away the cold winter’s icy grip
The water gives a chance for fresh rebirth
And the people have the same prayer on every lip
Spring, spring come to me
Warm me up beside a tree
Spring, spring come my way
Winter be gone and done away
