I don’t
want to grow older.
I wish time would pause in the state I am in.
Yet everything in my life
is hurling me into the future.
Every action I take
decision I make
is for the future.
Every minute spent in my life
is a minute closer to death.
Every minute spent in my life
is to prepare me for a time closer to death.
I try to avoid the ticking time,
but no matter what I won’t stop it.
The quick sand in the hourglass of time is pulling me in
and there is no way out.
