America After 9/11
America, land of the free
'Cause of the brave
You can plant a tree
Or you can rant and rave
But don't take those freedoms for granted
'Cause freedom doesn't come free
That tree that you just planted
was paid for by the American Army
We rarely loose a fight,
But we've had some terrible attacks,
The Twin Towers had a bite
that attack really hit us in the backs
The whole country was brought together
As we watched while those towers fell
Some were in sadness, and others in anger
While we watched our neighbors go through a living hell
Now most of us just go on as if it never happened
Some even ask “Why are we in this war?”
They have just forgotten our history which has been blackened
Now it seems as if our soldiers are the only ones who know what they are fighting for
That attack we should never forget
Neither should we forgive
Our army will not quit,
Until all those who threaten our country do not live
