One Day

One day, I will conquer.
On this day, I will stand before your broken, crumpled body filled with exhaustion and surrender.
On this day, I will look down into your hopeless, defeated eyes
Remembering all of the times in which you wronged me, looked down upon me.
On this day I will reach my hand out to you and utter four simple words;
“Do you need help?”
One day, I will conquer.
Just not in the way you think.
