Good Little Girl
Good little girl,
That’s all I’ll ever be.
I sit in a cage
Day and night
And watch the monsters prowl.
Keep your head high,
Back up straight,
That’s all I’ll ever know.
As I let my puppeteer
Drag me where she
Wants to go.
“Good little Girl”
they taunt.
“That’s all you’ll ever be.”
They shake the bars on the
Fabricated cage that keeps me
Far away.
I scream, I shout,
I shake the bars,
I try so hard to leave.
But keep your posture,
Be kind and polite
And be the good little girl
You’re forced to be.
