My salvation was read, read good books, take refuge in those worlds where living was exhilarating, intense, one adventure after another, where I could feel free and be happy again

The sunrise in the horizon,
Distant lands,
Wet roses in a vase,
These are all what beauty is about

An endless book
The vastness of the sea
I dare you to take a look
At the tall, green trees

The beauty of silence
In fearful darkness,
The sound of a siren
Filling the room with sadness

Your kisses in the morning
A dog barking in the back yard
The peace of farming
Reading a valentine’s card

One day you ask me
My dear, what is beauty?
I answer without hesitation
Beauty is you!

The beauty of life and death inspired me to write this piece. The beauty of the world. The beauty of every one and everything. I hope that people will start seeing the beauty of the world in a different way after reading this.
