A red smudge dancing on white. A signature scribbled in the corner. This is life,
an art student claims. No, it’s happiness in an empty world, another argues. But what if
this isn’t an artwork by van Gogh or Picasso or Cézanne but a drop of red paint by a clumsy elementary student. A red smudge is a red smudge is a red smudge is a red smudge not happiness in an unhappy world or life in an empty box.
