My angel
I wanted to lay in bed,
All day
Everyday.
In my solitude,
I was safe.
Away from the cruel heartless people
That take shelter here.
However, that all changed,
The day I met you.
Your smile is as bright as the sun.
You are a spark of light in the night,
You are the pot of gold
At the end of a rainbow.
You are a wish come true,
You’re my guardian angel,
Who protects me
From the evils
Of the world.
I used to be blind,
To how good my life was.
Because of you
I see all the beauty,
In my life.
