Sitting around
That’s what I do
Every hour of everyday
Watching television shows

With constant cheering, crying, and laughing
Enjoying my own company of new characters
Until they fade with time
Or it is time to say goodbye

Saying goodbye to every friendship made,
Every love lost,
And every episode canceled
This is what I do

I sit and cry
Still waiting for the next season
That one season that may never come
And bring an end to my sorrow
At least for a time
