Naked and numb
Chilling waves rush through my empty body
Hair floats past me like moist sea weed
Bumps coding
Growing on my pale skin
Blank stare
Sandy shells slit my heels
Salt infects the cut
Waves taking me
Rocking back and forth
Back and forth
Whistles stop
Vibrant umbrellas disappear
Boats vanish into the sunset
Take me out though the horizon
Float me out to peace
Naked and numb

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because I love nature and the ocean. I wanted to express the feeling the ocean gives me in great detail.
