Pen in hand,
The ink creates an image
Not captured by any other,
Spirals and loops,
Lines and phrases
All come together to form
This masterpiece scripted
By the lyrical values inside your mind.
I watch the shapes that form the words
And feel what they tell me to.
They whisper to me
The very desires of your soul
And I breathe them in
As if my existence depends on it.
But it ends,
As it always does –
And I praise the pages
That hold the secrets
Of a world I have
Not yet been.
