The sound of words
Unraveled in my mind
Like a clock
Ticking away
Falling away
Throwing away

My mind is open
Ouverte
Open to possibilities
Open to the future
Open to love

The floor seems
To fall beneath me
Every second
Every minute
Every single damn time

Time runs out quickly
Like a will cheetah
I wait for it
I wait for hope
I wait for silence

Silence never is there
I hear voices
The whisper of hope
The whisper of sadness
The whisper of madness

I hear the echo voices around my mind
Hoping to find
The whispers that whisper peace
