For The Sake Of My Beloved
Little is known of this,
Love's true meaning
A great tsoris it brings,
To green hearts of spring,
Who careen with their beloved,
Whisked away like a breeze,
Come fall it falters,
Like a stale leaf in autumn
Two lovers now, like withered blooms

Ahava,
I will give,
This is what love is,
Not to you, not to me,
But to them
Woe to the taker,
And pleasure to the giver that gives,
Expecting nothing in return
This is Ahava

So for the sake of my beloved,
And to others who may wonder,
I give and tell this secret of Ahava
In times of budding passion,
And faded lust
In remembrance of yesteryear,
It won't matter
If love remains

Ahava stays,
This perpetual pleasure
For the sake of my beloved,
Unconditionally I give,
Because if I am my beloved's
And my beloved is mine,
I lose nothing
