Tell me stories of the sky
The way you used to
When the hours threatened night
But I could see you
Tell me stories of your life
The way you used to
And change them every time
So tears elude you
Tell me stories of myself
And I will ask you
Why you never write them down
To see you smile
Tell me stories of your dreams
So I can hear them
As we hurry past the dark
I cannot lose you
