Love songs:
for the only
they create a fantasy
that will never be
fulfilled.
Love songs:
for the loved one
it reminds them
of a heart wrenching
memory.
Love Songs:
they seem to cause pain
whenever they are sung,
so why do we sing them?
The answer is simple;
we, the lonely,
we, the loved,
want that painful barb of love
embedded in out heart.
